What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?

Direct Primary Care is a model of healthcare that focuses on the physician-patient relationship without the limitations placed on your healthcare by insurance companies or the lack of personalization of a large corporate practice.  

 

DPC practices don’t accept insurance. You pay a set monthly fee for unlimited access to your Pediatrician. It is true price transparency. You receive at least 85-90% of all the care you need for one low monthly price with a Pediatrician you can trust.  By spending more time on prevention, which DPC allows, your children will be the healthiest they can be, both now and into adulthood.

Pediatricians in the traditional health systems of the in our area are typically tasked with caring for 2,000+ patients in their practice.  At Thrive Pediatrics, you’ll be part of a more intimate pediatric practice where Dr. Kurowski cares for a few hundred patients compared to thousands.
