Dr. Elizabeth Kurowski, MD

I am Dr. Elizabeth Kurowski, a board certified Pediatrician, Lifestyle Medicine certified physician, Physician Lactation Consultant, and a proud mom of 4 kids ranging from ages 6-22 years old with my husband Tim. I love being a pediatrician and helping kids Thrive from birth to adulthood. It is truly a magical and rewarding experience. When I am not being a doctor, I am spending time with my family, traveling to new places, finding new state parks to hike and bike, or reading a good book.

I previously worked in a large fee-for-service practice for 9 years and realized that healthcare could be better and our youngest deserve the absolute best healthcare. I have watched new parents struggle in those first few months and knew that I wanted to not only be able to spend more time with them to answer their questions but also to be a good support system during their most blessed but often difficult period of parenthood. In-home newborn visits are an awesome way to accomplish that and in today's medical landscape, direct primary care (DPC) is the best way for me to do that. As I watched parents trying to get into the clinic for a well visit, sick visit or follow up and saw a wait time of 6 months, I knew something had to change. In the typical insurance based practices (fee-for-service), parents were struggling, a child's health would deteriorate and we were always running to "fix" a problem rather than "prevent" it. Now, with DPC, I have the chance to be a more compassionate and comprehensive doctor, focusing solely on the child and family and not worrying about insurance companies or the big corporations measures of health.
