Ideally, it is recommended to complete ADHD testing at age 5 and older, but if you have a child that is younger than 5 but is having significant concerns at school or in day-to-day life, a consult can still take place. We see Pediatric Patients until age 22.

The cost for the entire screening, evaluation, and consultation is $285. You can pay with credit card, debit card, or HSA card.

We can create a super-bill invoice for you to submit to your insurance company for possible repayment but we are a cash-pay practice and reimbursement from your insurance company is not guaranteed.

The ADHD Functional Intensive Program is $1500 for 6 months. This includes a comprehensive Functional Plan and monthly follow ups and communication. When appropriate, follow-ups can be in person or by telehealth.

The evaluation process consists of an initial screening phone consult and evaluation, specific forms sent to parent and teacher, then a follow up parent & child in person visit to complete the evaluation. During the second half of the visit, discussion about the diagnosis (if applicable) and the next steps with general plan occurs. A final written document with the results of the discussion will be sent to you within 2 weeks of the visit.

First, forms are sent to you and teachers by email for easy and quick access. Once filled out, the forms come directly to us so there is no delay in us reviewing the information once collected (and no need to print, mail, etc!).

Then, we schedule our parent consult (virtual for about 30 minutes) & Parent & Child discussions at our office. The Parent & Child takes about 60 minutes to discuss, review, and create a plan.

If your child is diagnosed with ADHD, we will work with you to create a personalized general plan to support your child's attention & focus. We will provide resources for your family and a plan for helping your child thrive at school & home.

You can then take this diagnosis back to your child's Pediatrician. If you decide that Stimulant Medications are the right choice for your child, often your Pediatrician can help. If this is not the case, Patients can either choose to join the Thrive Pediatrics practice as either a Full Member with all benefits for $75 a month or as a member of the ADHD Basic Program which is $65 a month and includes needed follow-ups and medication management of the Stimulants.

If you decide that you want to pursue further Functional Medicine Testing, you can join the 6 month intensive program.

It works best if the child is aware of why they are coming in. We advise parents to focus on the strengths and challenges and that the focus is on enjoying home life, school, learning, and play even more. We work to explain in "kid terms" how the ADHD brain works.
